We are currently seeking a full time Occupational Therapist in our South Seattle Office. Applicants must believe in providing outstanding service with personal compassionate care, have an enthusiasm and willingness to learn, and are committed to making a difference in the lives of our clients. Applicants will be working with a diverse population, with a diverse orthopedic case load in a team environment.
We are an outpatient care clinic that provides comprehensive rehabilitation services which includes Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Musculoskeletal Conditions, Auto Accident Injuries, Work – Related Injuries, Sports Rehabilitation, Neck and Back Injuries, Foot and Ankle Injuries, and Work Hardening & Work Conditioning Programs.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

Develop/implement a work hardening/work conditioning rehabilitation plan for each client consistent with measurable objectives connected with the overall goals of the client rehabilitation team.

Confer with Claim mangers, Vocational Rehab Counselor, Physician, Physical Therapist and other team members to establish goals for recovery.

Perform initial evaluation, re-evaluation, and Daily documentation and PCE reports as necessary.

Conduct conference team meetings weekly.

Coordinate, oversee, supervise work simulation activates for each client.

Provide therapeutic treatment and work simulation activities to clients in accordance with treatment plan to improve/restore strength, range of motion, and function.

Teach educational classes, including basic anatomy and body mechanics classes.

Qualifications

Graduation from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Commission on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.

Current licensure/certification in Washington State

Good organizational and communications skills.
