NEED VISITING REGISTERED THERAPIST FOR START-UP THERAPY STAFFING/CONSULTING AGENCY
GROUND FLOOR OPPORTUNITY

Searching for a candidate who –
• Is licensed by the State of Michigan to practice physical or occupational therapy
• Has strong experience in home care documentation and visits
• Has a flexible schedule and is able to see patients assigned to them within 48 hours

• Has reliable transportation and is willing to travel/drive anywhere in the metro Detroit Area
• Has strong communication skills and is able to communicate quickly and efficiently to staffing office and various home care clients.
• PC skills a bonus, along with access to a PC

• Has reliable means of communication – either cellphone, fax machine, email, land line

* all prospective employees will be subjected to a FBI fingerprinting and criminal background check.

Prospective employee must be able to provide
• Official Transcripts or diploma showing degree earned and date conferred.
• professional certification/ license state of Michigan
• driver’s license
• Social security card

• Auto insurance
• CPR certification
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US (if applicable)
• Recent and valid physical examination results
• Recent and valid TB test/results/ chest x-ray
• 2 references

The position’s functions include, but not limited to the following:
• Assesses patient’s needs and design and implement rehabilitation programs.

• Documents and submits all assessment/evaluation, treatment and revisit notes in a timely manner.
• Supervises therapy assistants as per Medicare Standards.
• Consults and communicates with medical and professional staff from associated home care agencies to plan and coordinate joint patient management objectives.
• Conducts staff conferences and plans training programs to maintain proficient staff in therapy techniques and use of new methods and equipment to meet patients’ needs.
• Participates in recruitment, orientation and performance management of staff
• Represents advocates and promotes the discipline throughout the agency and encourage broad staff participation.
