Driver Rehabilitation Services, North Carolina’s leader in comprehensive driver evaluation and training, is interviewing now for an opening for an Occupational Therapist with work starting in March/April 2010. Work includes a variety of ages and disabilities.

Job Description:

• Clinical assessment of a person’s visual, perceptual, cognitive and physical abilities

• Wheelchair and/or seating and positioning evaluation as it relates to driving

• Behind the wheel evaluation including car evaluation or low tech van evaluation

• Behind the wheel training utilizing state of the art equipped vehicles

• Documentation using state of the art paperless system

Services provided at the client’s residence throughout Central North Carolina. Work day starts and ends at therapist’s home and occasionally requires overnight travel at the company’s expense. A company vehicle is provided for service delivery.

Applicants must have:

• Two years experience as an Occupational Therapist and be currently licensed by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy

• Internet access, proficient in word processing, and possess above-average internet skills

• A valid North Carolina Driver’s license and 4 years of experience as a licensed operator of a motor vehicle

• Not had a conviction for a moving violation totaling five or more points in the last three years
• Not had a revocation or suspension of driver’s license in the last five years
