Job Description:
Clinical assessment of a persons visual, perceptual, cognitive and physical abilities
Wheelchair and/or seating and positioning evaluation as it relates to driving
Behind the wheel evaluation including car evaluation or low tech van evaluation
Behind the wheel training utilizing state of the art equipped vehicles
Documentation using state of the art paperless system
Services provided at the clients residence throughout Central North Carolina. Work day starts and ends at therapists home and occasionally requires overnight travel at the companys expense. A company vehicle is provided for service delivery.
Applicants must have:
Two years experience as an Occupational Therapist and be currently licensed by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy
Internet access, proficient in word processing, and possess above-average internet skills
A valid North Carolina Drivers license and 4 years of experience as a licensed operator of a motor vehicle
Not had a conviction for a moving violation totaling five or more points in the last three years
Not had a revocation or suspension of drivers license in the last five years
