Contract Occupational Therapist
Belle Creek Charter School in Henderson, CO (NE Denver area) is seeking a part-time licensed Occupational Therapist to serve our special education students on a contract basis.
Belle Creek Charter School is a K-8th grade public charter school.
Current OT service needs are for 2-4 hours per month; more if deemed necessary.
Applicants must be registered as occupational therapists in Colorado. Experience working in public schools preferred.
Duties include assessing childrens educationally-relevant fine motor skills; communicating effectively in oral and written form with parents, teachers and staff about specific childrens fine motor skills; consulting with general education teachers regarding classroom accommodations and adaptations; conducting individual and small-group occupational therapy sessions and being knowledgeable about assistive technology that may benefit students with fine motor difficulties.
