Rest Assured HME is a Durable Medical Equipment Company specializing in CPAP and home oxygen therapies. A young company, RAHME seeks to promote awareness of Sleep Apnea through continuing education of patients and primary care physicians with the aim of maintaining exceptionally high compliance among patients. We are looking for a part time Respiratory Therapist whose primary responsibility would be CPAP setups for all new patients as well as the initial follow up and coordination with other employees for future follow up.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Standard CPAP machine and mask setups for patients within assigned territory
- Receive and document the orders for said equipment and/or services from the referral source
- Communicate with patients physician and sleep lab on the best choice of equipment as well as any changes in the patients condition and/or needs.
- Timely follow up to ensure compliance and proper equipment function
- Complete patient/doctor paperwork, including treatment and assessment documents.
- Act as a liaison between RAHME and the patient.
- Travelling to patient homes throughout assigned territory
- Submitting weekly to monthly reports on growth and maintenance of patient base within territory.
- This is a part time position
Requirements:
- Must be licensed respiratory therapist (CRT, RRT) in oxygen and CPAP with at least 3 years experience in Michigan
- Daily travel throughout territory will be compensated for all travel
- Enthusiasm and ability to learn quickly are a must
