Respiratory Therapists Interested in Getting into the Field of Sleep?
REM Sleep Labs, Inc., a progressive sleep diagnostics services company, is seeking Respiratory Therapists who want to expand their expertise into the field of Sleep. We are currently offering Part-time and Full-time Sleep Tech Positions.
The Polysomnographic Technician position requires hands on patient care experience, Computer skills, CPR skills, Basic Anatomy and Physiology, and Medical Terminology. You will train 1-3 nights per week in the Sleep Lab until competence has been established. All shifts are 10 hours and nights may vary. You will provide services to patients with a range of sleep disorders, including Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Snoring, and Parasomnias. You will learn other duties as a Polysomnography Technician, which includes patient set-up, recording all night polysomnography, troubleshooting diagnostic equipment, scoring, titrating CPAP/BiPAP, and O2 therapy.
We are looking for techs for our San Diego, CA lab. The Polysomnographic Tech position may require travel between various Sleep Lab locations as necessary.
Skills and requirements for the position are:
RRT or CRT License
Current CPR certification
